The Voice of Generation Z The world we live in today is not made up only of tangible things; a large part of it is intangible: the realm of computers and software. Generation Z has grown up in this world, and many of its members are either dependent on technology or deeply interested in learning about it. Unlike earlier generations, Generation Z has spent much of its life in this digital realm; they have had touchscreen phones (smartphones), high-speed internet, and modern technologies throughout their upbringing. These technologies can be both beneficial and dangerous; their impact depends on the user and how they are used. Yet the major issues facing Generation Z today go beyond technology: freedom, individual rights, lack of free or adequate education, reduced access to information, and restrictions on social activity are among their main concerns.
